We bought this music box for my son's first birthday to replace one that had seen better days. We were excited to receive it, but unfortunately it didn't come up to scratch. The power needed to spin the characters made the music slow down & sound distorted. After a few optimistic days the winding mechanism broke completely. In hindsight, it is obviously beneficial to spend a bit more on something that will last!Moo & Oink

Plays a waltz and the animals spin round - it's lovely. I am now wondering who else I can buy one for!
Daughter enthralled - kept picking the cow & pig up and placing them back on - we know it's magnets but she doesn't.
Don't know how durable it will be yet as we have only just received it but it looks solid enough. As she is under three she can only have it under supervision.

I bought this for my 2 year old niece for her bedroom.
Was not disappointed- really lovely. The music is very pretty and she watches the figures dance in amazement.
Not sure why a couple of other people in the reviews didn't like it, what did they expect for their money??? It looks lovely in her room and I think its excellent value for money - its not a toy so maybe they were disappointed as they thought their child could sit a play with it on their own. And as for thinking it was made by Troussellier?? why would you?

so sweet
My 2 yr old daughter loves this, as does her 5yr old sister. Has been dumped on the floor a few times so far, and seems non-the-worse for it. Simple and sweet, a great toy.

Totally charming
My 20 month old loves this and I do too. It plays a lovely tune and when not in use looks gorgeous on her little white bookcase. Would throughly recommend.
