Our four and a half year old daughter loves playing with this wooden dolls house. It is well designed with indoor and some oudoor furniture and two dolls (about 4" high) included. 11 screws used to assemble roof and first floor supports, but good instructions included.

I am always on the look out for good quality toys at reasonable prices to enhance the Early Years Foundation stage experience of the children in my care. I ordered this toy on Saturday and took delivery of it on Monday afternoon! I made the house with the allan key supplied and struggled with it as it kept slipping making the screw very difficult to get in completely, however I managed with a screwdriver. Once I got to grips with the screws it went together perfectly and all the walls and dividers slotted in fine. It took less than 1 hour to complete. This is an excellent 'ready to play' house and comes complete with 2 figures (boy and girl) and lounge, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom furniture. What I love about this design is they have included an outdoor area with a tree, bench, watering can, plants, bush and pail, great for talking about healthy practices with your children like outdoor exercise and gardening 'grow your own'. This house isn't going to take up much storage either, it is 40cm in height and the base plate is roughly 35cm x 25cm. This has made an excellent addition to my 'small world' resources and the children love playing with it.

This was bought as a gift for our 3 year old grand child for her birthday. There were some issues to build the house (!), I think some basic wood-glue would be an extra help. Other than that, it is a success. There are lots of small parts to get lost - but all the furniture seem robust enough. Care is needed as she has a 10 month baby brother! Kept at coffee table height, it is ideal for playing and hopefully will give hours of fun!
