We bought this balance bike for our son. The first one arrived with 'old' parts on it so John Crane were very good at replacing these immediately by post and we put the bike together. However there have been problems with it since - it is very poorly made and it is not safe. We would not recommend this product from the point of view of it's shoddy manufacturing and this affects its safety but our son has had a lot of fun on it during the two months when it was not needing proper up to date parts and it taught him good balance but it is overpriced and how it passed safety regulations we do not know.

The bycicle has been shipped with a huge functional defect: it has two holes to fix the handlebar to the fork, these two holes are not aligned so the handlebar is disaligned with the wheel. This should be an object to improve balance capacity in child but if it's misaligned it's clearly unuseful. T

Not good enough. the slot inside the forks has bin routed to a point were there is a hole in the front face of the fork. a bit of quality control would be nice.
