A few years back, I happened upon a book called Bradford Noise of the Valleys, in Waterstones, and remember thinking, what a shame it stops just before it gets interesting... and hoped Gary Cavanagh and Matt Webster did a second book about the local music scene covering the years I remembered. Well these self confessed music addicts have done it, book 2 years 88-98 is finished. Chock full of bands, venues, flyers and memorabilia, in an interesting scrap book style format. If you are looking for a present for an impossible to please uncle, this killer of a coffee table book could be an ideal Christmas gift!!

Been waiting for this since last one. So much in this book, every page packed with photos and posters etc of the time. Also lots of family trees that mention so many bands and their development. Brings back memories of going to see a lot of these bands and a lot of great nights out. These books are like a Who's who of Bradford music. Gonna get the CDs next. Outstanding book, love it!
