This is an excellent bread bin. It is very easy to clean - just give it a wipe. The lid closes and seals perfectly with no gaps so the bread stays fresh. The lid doesn't clunk down with a big bang either which is good. As to the colour, I would say that it is a very very slightly off-white. My fridge is pure white and I keep the bread bin on top of it and there is definitely a difference.
The only thing I would say is that I'm not so sure about its claim to fit two full size loaves inside. At the most I get one loaf, some hot cross buns and half loaf inside, which is fine for me. If you need two full loaves perhaps you need a bigger one.

I'm really pleased with this bread bin - it's big enough to hold a full sized loaf and have room for some pittas and maybe a little fruit loaf at the end, it's a really pure white which looks great under my white boiler, and it's dead easy to clean (inside and out). The other thing that made a real difference for me is that when you close it - the door fits really well so the bread stays fresher for longer. I know it seems a bit pricey, but this is exactly what I want in a bread bin!

Brabantia products might look expensive in the first instance but you get fantastic quality every time. This bread bin, albeit white, stayed perfectly white after a year now as it responds very well to wipe clean. Looks great in my white kitchen.

Classy

thought it was the wrong bin
its not as white as i thought,in fact its cream in places,but all the same looks ok ,quite sturdy,bigger than i though if uv got a white kitchen ,maybe try the pull down front one
