As usual, first note about the order and delivery: on time, packaging was good and nothing to report. 5 star
The product:
Ok... it's not the cheapest ironing table of the market... it's pretty expensive if you consider (like me) that ironing is not a ver interesting home-task...
BUT... this ironing table is great! I am tall (1m93) and I used to break my back when ironing... that's not the case with this one, you can lift it high enough for people like! I love it ... and no more back pains after ironing 2 shirts.
The design is nice, solid and looks like it will last for quite while.
This specific design with the "geeky breakfast" cover is just what I wanted !!!! it's almost like having an Apple Ironing Board :P
By the way, the black coffee cup that you see on the picture is made of silicone and can be moved. Never saw that before...
You can iron sitting (that's what they say on the description) as the legs of the table have a specific design that allow this. I have not tried yet...
So my conclusion is: no more back pain and probably a long life product due to strength of material used.

I have been searching and reviewing 'decent' ironing boards for quite some time and having already bought and returned two to well known stores I had almost given up. This one popped up on my screen so decided to try it out as Brabantia are generally good. This has to be the sturdiest ironing board ever, fits neatly in the cupboard and if ironing could be a joyful chore then this board makes it so! I also like the fact that there is no iron stand to speak of - much better to stand your iron wherever it suits, many an iron has gone overboard on previous boards! Worth every penny.

I bought this ironing board because I wanted a large ironing surface which could be set at a large range of levels while maintaining stability. I was not disappointed.
This ironing board is exceptionally stable - it doesn't rock around while ironing and the locking mechanism doesn't slip whatsoever when I'm using it. It's quiet to set up and collapse - not like my last one which made an awful screeching sound which grated on me! And, after throwing my last board into the local refuge collection centre, the 10-year guarantee is very welcome.
The ironing cover is thick and very soft providing a perfect surface which makes a tedious task reasonably bearable. The movable iron mat is a nice touch too.
It's a big ironing board so it's not light, but it's not so heavy that my wife wouldn't be able to put it away.
Last, but not least, I love the modern take on the cover design, although it's not to everyone's taste I'm sure.
