Having bought one of these openers many years ago and used on a regular basis we have found that it would take some beating on ease of use and efficiency.We are very pleased with this new model, very smooth to operate and easy to use with good results. Would fully recommend.

Having used one of these for the last 10 years plus, (and still going strong I must add).
Bought one for daughter to take to University with her (well forgot to pack it and she bought a cheap metal one, that not only didn't work properly but left the sharp edges on the tin.
Replaced swiftly with one of these and now no cut fingers, just easily opened tins.
Slightly more expensive than other makes but worth the money, as said mine is over 10 years old and still in regular use.
Goes into the dishwasher so easily cleaned and feels sturdy.

I have bought several different can openers in the past few years, but none of them were perfect. I used to own a Brabantia can opener in the past that did a good job, so I decided to try another one. I now wish I had not wasted my money on all the others. The Brabantia can opener opens the cans with such an ease that it is a joy to use. It does what it is supposed to do. I am really pleased with it. You can put your dirty can opener in the dishwasher, but I have not tried that as yet.
