This book is very informative, for both parents and teachers of children of all ages from kindergarden to the high school. Although researched and written in America, it is relevant to the UK and looks at all spheres of learning. It looks at brain based influences on gender and how boys and girls learn differently for physical reasons due to brain development and hormones. It offers advice on how an effective classroom should be adopted to bring the best out in children, offering advice regarding challenging behaviour, dietary recommendations, discipline, SEN, emotional stress issues and the use of mentors to name a few of the many issues covered. It is an easy to read book that would be helpful for NQT's, parents, experienced teachers and those who write educational policys.

I bought this ebook for my Kindle to use as reading material for my research project on Gender which is a part of my Foundation Degree in Early Years Development and Learning. This was a very good book. I was very impressed by it and it had plenty of useful information.
However....
The file then crashed.
It took a long time to sort out including time on the phone to Kindle support, and i was not able to use it within my assignments as i was told the file was corrupt.
Very disappointed.
