Product Description

Three gay friends and their partners hire a country cottage for a relaxing weekend away from the bustle of the city. Paul and Ben have been together for five years, but it's beginning to feel like a lot longer. Matt and Owen have been 'going steady' for three months. Matt is beginning to hear wedding bells, while Owen is hearing the call of the wild. Adam and Will, meanwhile, have only just met. However, it appears that, unbeknownst to them, they might have had a history together. Will they have a future? Examining the difficult implications of commitments in all-male relationships, and the seedier side of temptations that linger outside these boundaries, this is an impressive debut from the makers of 'Lawless Heart'.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic insight! 28 May 2002
By A Customer
Format:VHS Tape
In this film about several gay couples, we enter a world of complex emotions and different situations. We discover much that needs to be known about gay relationships, emotions and sexual feelings. The story involves 3 couples going on holiday to a cottage in the countryside, and discovering that being in a relationship is not always the best thing and temptation can get the better of them! The camera work is excellent in the more explict scenes, leaving a fair amount up to the imagination! I give this film 10 out of 10 for entertainment value. A must for all gay men!

5.0 out of 5 stars Stars the actor out of Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie 29 Aug 2012
By Andy
Format:DVD
This film is 90's filmed in the uk but its not dated by its content, in fact its still very current. I never realised it stars the guy who plays in Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie James Dreyfus. He is very different as a traditional actor and not the funny guy in the hit tv series in fact hes extremely good. I have to admit there are some good shots of his upper body! It is so much more in content than some of the rubbish currently coming out of Europe and very much worth watching as its so life like in relation to gay behaviours. The film has another young actor now famouse from a TV comedy series but I cant remember which one it is. The quality of the filming reproduction is in places a bit nostalgic and gives the impression of an old film on video tape but it adds to the theme of the drama and after the first 10 mins you dont notice it anymore.

1.0 out of 5 stars Low budget creation 7 Sep 2005
By A Customer
Format:DVD
I am afriad this film depresses me from the beginning to the end. The characters in the story are not convincing. The plot is really weak and the actors are not acting but just keep on talking in front of the camera. The quality of the picture is really bad and the acting is incredibly amateurish!

3.0 out of 5 stars Fair, if not breathtaking 21 July 2004
By wanman
Format:DVD
Fair film, that easily passes the time of day.

The acting seems wooden and stilted. The story bumbles nicely along - don't expect anything too groundbreaking.

Annoyingly, the camera seems to crop the top of the characters heads off.
