i really like this book. had seen a portion of this cartoon in a cartoon anthology and liked the art and the story so much that i really wanted to find the original, if it existed. and then a few days ago i did!

jjust got the book today and read it, and like a previous reviewer says, the second part of the book focuses a lot more on sort of meaningless sex, but i still think it's a nice little book.

the story's not really a 'new' and is kinda the same old 'gay boy has crush on high school jock friend, then something happens..' etc. but still, the artwork sells it to me.

This book (which bears no relationship to Amazon's own plot summary on the purchasing site)is, at one level, a familiar story: gay boy has huge crush on straight best friend who turns out to be not so straight after all. After various adventures, the two live happily ever after. But the story is the least of it and is merely a pretext for two very cute and sexy guys to have lots of great sex together and with their two best male friends. And since this is a graphic story, it is the art, not the story, that sells it. Mioki is a fine artist and perfectly portrays both the guys and their surroundings. There is nothing coy about these illustrations as Rick and Evan express their love and passion for each other every which way two guys can. This is a book designed to titillate and it succeeds admirably.

The graphic is great, but the story, initially interesting, winds down to a lot of sex with very little plot. I'd expected more character development, more in sight in the protagonists personality. Not that i'm complaining: the sex scenes are hot!

This is a high quality (hardcover) comic book which very much reminded my of some of those classic comics like Spiderman, Fantastic Four, Flash and so on. The art is simply beautiful and the colors are vibrant and lively.

Sunstar and Blue Comet are Golden Bay City's hottests up and coming super heroes. And in the name of media attention they let the public and the media believe, that they're more than just a couple in regard to work. But Blue Comet (aka Derek) is actually gay and very much in love with Sunstar's little brother Justin. Derek wants to end this half-closeted life, but is afraid of the consequences. Who ever heard of a gay super hero?

But when Sunstar, Blue Comet and Justin and entire Golden Bay City is threatened by a pair of evil villains, Derek's perspective of what is important in life is changed as he struggles to keep his lover alive.
