Cute guys, intrigue, romance, angst, gender confusion, cross dressing, etc. Boy Princess, a tall tale with twist has it all. The storyline is rich and surprisingly complex; there are a number of subplots running concurrently with the main plot at any one time. I've come to expect to boy-love stories will be rather shallow and dependant upon the pretty pictures to hold your interest so it was a quite a pleasant and entertaining read. That said, the boys aren't bad to look at either. They certainly hold my interest! Prince Jed is quite the dashing hero and Prince Nicole, the protagonist, is sweet but manly. I suppose this might better be described as yaoi, rather than boy-love but the featured love scenes between various couples aren't that explicit.
