One of the best books on boxmaking. 1 Feb 1999

This is a must have book for the box maker. It as all the basic information needed with instructions tips and techniques to get the beginner off to a good start. There are progressively more complex designs to demonstrate and learn various techniques. Each of these plans are attractive and keep me interested. I am going through this book project by project. When I finish it I'll have an excellent foundation for more exotic projects. I highly recommend this book.

Great introduction for woodworkers to box-making 14 Jun 1999

Freedman's careful development of the basic skills one needs to quickly begin making truly delightful boxes makes this a must for beginning woodworkers. He knows the tricks and shows you how to take advantage of his knowledge. Many of the projects will make great gifts or sure money makers at Art and Crafts Fairs.

I guess the title say it all. If you want to get started making boxes, this is an excellent book to read.
