Extremely powerful drama. A roller coaster of emotions. Each character has strong prominence in this gripping series which is compulsive viewing from the first episode to the last. Shocking, strong storyline which challenges even today's moral values. This is a family who become very deeply entwined in each other's emotions with serious consequences. Classic drama. Stands the test of time.

Here is author Andrea Newmans finest story brought to the TV screen. During one hot summer the Manson family is torn apart by Peter Manson's obsession with his own daughter. Guilty, he hides behind an affair with his secretary. This drama shocked the nation in 1976 with its frank portrait of a family in crisis. I recommend you watch this fab 1970's drama and the sequel Another Bouquet made in 1977. Stars Susan Penhaligon, Frank Finlay, Sheila Allen, James Aubrey and Deborah Grant. If you enjoy this drama Andrea Newmans other books are just as good especially Alexa.
