This is another cracking title in the disney first readers collection. One of its key points is that it has a genuinely interesting story of tigger bouncing up the tree and getting stuck conveyed in simple languange with plenty of repetition "Tigger bounced and bounced and bounced" and a nice touch of expression in "Roo did little bounces boing boing boing. Tigger did big bounces BOING BOING BOING". It was only a short while before my daughter aged 2½ began 'reading' the book herself and then another small step for her to start recognising words like "Tigger", "bounce" and "stuck". We then were able to play "spot-the-word-on-the-page" games. Highly recommended along with the even better title "Too much honey" as a fun way to motivate little readers.
