4.0 out of 5 stars Finally a DVD single worth buying! 26 Oct 2003
By Ben1969
Every Depeche Mode fan will want to get their hands on this DVD of the 3rd (and presumably final) single from singer Dave Gahan's first solo album "Paper Monsters". Firstly it includes the full-length video for "Bottle Living". Sounds obvious, but the previous DVD single ("I Need You") did not include the video for that song - which makes you wonder if MUTE were taking the fans for granted (although they same mistake with the DVD single for Depeche Mode's "Freelove" back in 2001). Secondly it includes the Machine Head Synth Mix of "Bottle Living" - which is the best remix I've heard of this song, with a funk beat and gorgeous old-school synth bassline. So although this is the 3rd DVD single to be released off Paper Monsters - it's probably the first one you could call essential.
