Saw Raurri in Brighton supporting Show of Hands and bought this album a few weeks later,it's very good lyrics are great, have now bought Grime and Grit in the hope it is as good

I love Ruarri. He's best listened to live as he has a great rapport with an audience. With a wonderful voice and beautiful songs, I'd recommend seeing him whilst you can and he is relatively unknown. This is my favourite album from him. The last track - There We'll Be is one of my favourite songs of the year.

I have always been a big fan of Ruarri Joseph, and I felt that he was unfortunate not to get the big breakthrough he so thoroughly deserved with his first album 'Tales of Grime and Grit'.
And when I heard he was releasing a second album on his own record label I was sure it was going to be good but I didn't expect it to better than his debut. But sure enough it is! 'Both Sides of the Coin' has a fresher more mature sound that suits Ruarri's voice well. There is also a greater emotional range in 'Both Sides of the Coin', songs like Red Mist show a more aggressive and angry side to Ruarri's music that wasn't present in his debut album. And theres still some of Ruarri's more uplifting and laid back music, like There We'll Be, that made his debut so unusual and enjoyable.
God bless you Ruarri, I hope this time round you will get the recognition you deserve for making such a wonderful record. Keep it up!
