I bought this book to accompany an RHS course I am doing. The illustrations are excellent and believe it or not colouring in the pictures really helps with learning. You feel distinctly childish colouring in pictures but by referencing the text it does reinforce what you are trying to hammer into your memory.

it is great to pretend to be a kid and colour in! I had RHS exams to prepare for so I was short on time - however if one is to make the time - this does help to learn the various names of structures within plants! So whether you are young or not - give it a go - but make sure you have time set aside and lovely colouring in pencils!

Excellent method of learing while being artistic. You do need a good selection of coloured pencils though. most enjoyable too.

I was amazed with the scientific value of this book, and it is a useful way of teaching people about Botany.
