Dedication to research and excellence has been the Bose approach to better sound since Dr. Amar G. Bose founded the company in 1964. Ever since then, Bose engineers have focused on creating better technology. You'll find that focus exemplified in the Bose® MIE2 Mobile headset.
The Bose® MIE2 Mobile headset is designed to improve both the audio quality and convenience you experience from your mobile phone. You can take calls at the touch of a button. Switch seamlessly between calls and music. And enjoy them both in Bose quality sound.
Normal mobile headsets can't match the sound performance you’ll get from your Bose® MIE2 Mobile headset. Redesigned from the inside out, its improved acoustic design and Bose-own TriPort® acoustic headphone structure makes your music sound smoother and more life-like. Enjoy crystal clear speech – in "stereo" – through two earpieces.
To answer an incoming phone call and pause the music, simply click the answer/end button. There’s no need to hold the phone to your lips either; the omnidirectional microphone will transmit your voice clearly. End the conversation with a single push of the button, and you’re back to your music.
Bose-own StayHear® silicone tips give you more in-ear stability while walking or engaging in active sports or other exercise. The cutting-edge design and materials let the tips fit in the ear bowls while naturally following the upper ridges of your ears. StayHear® tips come in small, medium and large sizes to fit wearers' ears comfortably for longer periods of time. The silicone tips are also fixed more securely to the headset itself, for the most dependable listening experience whether you’re listening to music or taking calls.
Thanks to the use of advanced construction and manufacturing techniques and sophisticated materials, the Bose® MIE2 Mobile headset is now stronger than ever. To meet Bose’s exacting durability and performance standards, every pair of MIE2 headsets undergoes thorough testing.
The Bose® MIE2 Mobile headset is compatible with the latest Blackberry, iPhone and Android models and most popular mobile phones. It’s important to check whether your phone works with this headset. A handy carrying case for transportation and storage is included.
iPhone is a trademark of Apple Inc., in the U.S.A and other countries.
Bose-own StayHear® ear tips fit inside the ear bowl for greater in-ear stability, while naturally following the upper ridge of your ear. An omnidirectional, inline microphone makes your mobile phone calls easier – you no longer have to hold the microphone to be understood. An answer/end button on the back of the mic allows you to switch between music and calls with one-touch ease. The headphones sport an enhanced acoustic design with a new port for smoother and more life-like sound. Bose’s proprietary TriPort® acoustic headphone structure makes a tonally balanced sound performance – with rich low notes – possible from a tiny in-ear headset. The durable cable construction increases reliability and flexibility so that your headset can withstand rigorous use. An angled 3.5mm plug fits directly into mobile phones with recessed jacks, including Apple® iPhones. Two 2.5mm adapters allow for greater compatibility with various mobile devices. The protective carrying case can be used to store your headset, adapters and mobile phone. A special hologram label is used to show that these are original Bose® in-ear headphones. This visually identifies the product, while an individual product code and other security features help Bose to confirm the label’s authenticity. The label can be found on the back side of the Y-joint's housing, where the wire splits in two.

WARNING: Not compatible with all phones,

The microphone on this product doesn't work with all phones. It doesn't state it anywhere on amazon or on the packaging but there is a compatibility list and the Bose helpline was the first to point this out only after I had purchased this product. Very disappointing since I have a new model of a phone. What a waste of money and a shame since the sound is very good from the headphones.

What an exceptional buy. The Bose sound is second to none, as I have other Bose equipment at home. Dealing with I Zone was a joy although I didn`t realise they were based in Canada, therefore allow plenty of time if you are buying for for a special occasion.Unfortunately my wife`s Samsung phone was not compatible with the Bose headset and although I trawled the London electronic shops and the internet,I couldn`t get an adaptor to fit and had to sent it back. I Zone dealt with my problem swiftly and courteously and refunded my money without a murmur,I would definitely buy from them again without exception. What a pity!

I bought a set of Bose headphones like these about 4 years ago, and i loved them.I decided to upgrade to these, to have the benefit of the tri-port system and the functionality to use with my mobile phone. The headphones are great as expected. Good sound and I find that the new style ear-buds work well. I usually hate in-ear phones, but the older Bose ones were comfortable and these are even better. HOWEVER, I am dissapointed that the new model cable is 20cm shorter than the older ones. Plus the older model had a neck-cord. I really liked the length of the older model and i am disappointed with the loss of that length. It seems to have lost approx 10cm from length between the earphones and the "y-joint" and approximately 10cm from the overall cable length to the plug. But for sound quality I cannot fault them - i use them on aircraft, in noisy offices, and while they do not have "active noise reduction" I find they do reduce outside noise without making me deaf to others trying to talk to me.
