Redesigned from the inside out, the Bose® IE2 audio headphones have an improved acoustic design for a smoother and more lifelife listening experience. The headphones take sound performance to a level that conventional ear buds can't reach. They now also fit more securely and will last even longer.
More life-like sound
These headphones deliver an audio performance with more realism and range than most ordinary ear buds. Bose-own TriPort® acoustic headphone structure and a modified port design work together to deliver rich sounding music, with more nuance in the high frequency range. Bose® IE2 audio headphones offer more clarity, even at higher volumes -- an immersive experience that you'd normally only get from far bigger headphones.
Stays put while you’re on the go
Bose’s silicone tips give you more in-ear stability while you’re practicing active sports or exercising. The sophisticated design and materials let the tips sit comfortably inside the ear bowl, while following the ear's upper ridge. StayHear® tips are available in small, medium and large sizes to fit wearers' ears comfortably for longer listening pleasure. The silicone tips have also been engineered to sit more securely on the headphone itself, so that they will stay put while you move.

Features
Bose StayHear® ear tips offer greater in-ear stability by nestling inside the ear bowl while naturally conforming to the upper ridge of the ear. The headphones’ enhanced acoustic design includes a new port that makes music sound smoother and more lifelike. Proprietary TriPort® acoustic headphone structure creates a tonally balanced performance with rich low notes from a compact, in-ear headset. The durable cable construction offers increased flexibility and can withstand rigorous use. For a customised fit, choose between small, medium or large removable silicone tips. The headphones are fitted with an angled plug for increased compatibility with most MP3 players, including most iPhone and iPod devices, laptops and portable DVD and CD players. You can store the headphones and a portable MP3 player in the protective carrying case. A hologram label with an individual product code allows the headphones to be visually identified as a genuine Bose product. Bose can confirm the label’s authenticity by checking the security features embedded in the label. You’ll find the label on the back of the Y-joint's housing, where the wire splits in two.

As an owner of the Klipsch Image S4 Headphones, I can safely say that the bose IE2s deliver.
The first difference I noticed was the superb bass, which blows the Klipsch out of the water. And even though the bose is NOT noise-isolating, it sounds absolutely brilliant, with crystal clear low, high and mid-range tones. The thing that impressed me the most was the superb comfort. They are probably the most comfortable earphones I've ever had. You seriously don't feel like your wearing earphones after a while. Yes, they are THAT comfortable. The IE2s come with some crazy-looking ear tips called StayHear tips, and they do live up to their name. They don't ever budge while exercising (even during my vigorous sprinting sessions). You can try pulling them out by tugging the cord and they still hold up!
Here's some quick pros and cons,
PROS:
- Legendary comfort.
- Brilliant bass, with crisp low, high and mid-range tones.
- Perfect for the gym, as they never ever ever fall out of your ears.
- Very good built quality.
- The cord doesn't tangle easily.
CONS:
- A bit expensive (considering the american version sells for $90).
So yeah, if you have £90 lying around,
and you need a pair of earphones, no doubt about it - get the IE2s!

I bought these ear phones after weeks of reading reviews/best of lists and comparing pricing with quality.
As I work with music on a daily basis I've always made sure I have quality phones to listen with.
The Bose IE2 Audio Headphones are in the lower end of the Mid price range for Ear Buds.
Low - 0 > 30
Mid - 30 > 200
High - 200 >

The pricing is relevant to the quality in these ranges.
The Phones are great!!!! Much better than i thought i would be getting. Other reviews say the bass* is weak and they don't cancel out ambient noise. Well, they are not meant to be inner ear(Outside noise canceling)buds. So if you are looking for that, then these aren't for you.
But if you want very high quality sound with near perfect treble and mid ranges with *very good bass!!! Then i would highly recommend these Ear Phones.
Also the fit is very comfortable and secure, and come with a large selection of different sizes.
All in all, i'd give these phones a 9/10

Simply stunning. Crisp clean sounds which makes listening to music a joy all over again. I find myself reimmersing myself in top end high fidelity dance music, as these headphones deliver sharp notes across all frequencies. I prefer them to my speakers too. I don't know how Bose have managed to reproduce such quality in such a small package, but they truly are amazing.
I've had 3 pairs of Sennheiser in ear headphones, which I thought were great and cancelled noise beautifully. Ok these do not cancel noise, but I echo the comments above about ear canals breathing. Going back to the Sennheiser is a weird experience after these. The innovative design is very comfortable and does not work loose.
I even like the design consideration of the jack, with the l shaped mount and wider grip to insert and remove.
Top, top drawer. Was shocked to see the price (were a birthday present) and couldn't justify it if I was looking for headphones. However after using them, I'd definitely pay it again, if they ever broke, without any hesitation.
BRB, off to listen to some nice house music.
