Comfort on the move with Bose quality sound
Get advanced audio in a compact design thanks to innovations only available from Bose. Like all Bose® headsets and headphones, the Bose® OE audio headphones incorporate the proprietary TriPort® acoustic headphone structure to produce rich low tones from compact ear cups ? with no unnatural bass boost.
The ear cups are padded with special memory foam that takes on the shape of your ears, taking comfort to the next level. They rotate from top-to-bottom and from front-to-back for an improved fit that won’t ever pinch. The Bose® OE audio headphones also come with a collapsible headband, flat-folding ear cups and a protective carrying case.
For added convenience, two detachable sound cables are included: link it to the standard 1.1m cable for added reach or use the shorter 0.4m cable for close connections. Both cables only attach to a single ear cup, for less tangling than you’ll experience with ordinary Y-cables.

As someone who was a "Hi-Fi buff back in the 70's I spent loads of money and time, avidly devouring the Hi-Fi magazines and reading figures for High/low frequency, wow and flutter, rumble, cartridge compliance etc. Through time I discovered that most of these figures were virtually meaningless unless you had a soundproof listening room, bat like hearing at one end of the scale and a dogs ability to pick up frequencies so low that a seismometer would be required to register them at the other. Bose obviously recognise this fact and let their products "speak for themselves".
These headphones tick all the boxes, they look good, feel good but most importantly they sound great! build quality is excellent and I can wear them for hours and do not get listening fatigue or sore ears. I'm sure there are as good or better out there but price v quality would be almost impossible to beat and difficult in a lot of cases to equal. In the end, best to try them before you buy like most things, but I would have no hesitation in recommending you add them to your list of prospectives if you are in the market for headphones. They come with a strong, neat carrying case and two different lengths of connecting cable too. Nice!
These headphones are not for dj'ing, and are absolutely not for recording, mixing or mastering.
What these headphones ARE for, is for people who enjoy listening to music, and want to be able to appreciate the full richness of sound, from crisp high frequencies, to solid lows, and everything in-between.
With a background in audio engineering, I am fully aware of the fact that these headphones are neither 'flat' nor 'neutral', there is certainly a bass and treble boost that makes listening to most music a pleasure, but makes these phones totally unsuitable to the recording or production of music. That is fine, they weren't designed for that task!
I can report that the sounds of Baroque to Black Metal, Jazz to Drum 'n Bass are all wonderfully reproduced for your listening pleasure through these phones. I haven't come across a genre that isn't a pleasure to listen to in more than 3 years of owning these headphones.
They are a pleasure to have against your ears, the ear pads are wonderfully soft, although they do tend to make your ears sweat a bit after prolonged use. Very comfortable, and with the newly designed cord, there isn't much else to improve on. (The old version had a fabric cord covering that tended to twist out of place, and fall apart easily).
The case they come provided with is sturdy, and does the job of protecting them perfectly. Overall, a killer set of headphones for people who love music - not to mention the fact that they're perfect for movies and games too!
The case that comes with it is hard and durable and protects the headphones nicely. I feel that Bose have produced excellent quality headphones and I am very happy with my product and feel they are certainly value for money.
