I appear to be having something of a bad run when it comes to purchasing Irons. This is my second brand of fairly expensive German Irons that have let me down. Now this Iron was bought to replace another Bosch which had developed a leak after around a years service.(which is what transpired with the other German brand) Because of this I went up a grade and purchased this one. As an Iron it irons really well on that I cannot fault it. The cable unlike the rest is covered in a woven cloth like material and while extra long (good) has a tendency to kink (bad) However that I can live with. Today on using the Iron I noticed that the steam button had dropped off. This is an Iron I have owned for just over 2 months and doesn't get abused at all. Which in a nutshell make me feel very disappointed with the recent crop of expensive German Irons.

a very good iron for a good price. it does feel a bit plastiky. the cord is long, which is very useful but tends to curl. the iron irons well, but mind that it uses a lot of water, as it's quite powerful. it's not that heavy in comparison to some Philips irons. overall, very happy.

This is an iron that is easy to use and is recommended by Which? so I bought it and it really is good. I do a lot of ironing of shirts and as untreated cotton is my preferred fibre I have found it difficult with my previous iron to press adequately the cuffs and collars.
I can now admire a fast action and manouvreable tool in my hands giving me the results I wish for. The water reservoir is not brilliant though and topping up is a frequent if easy procedure. The trick is to iron damp shirts and not let them dry out before you iron them!

Delighted
Very pleased irons so much better than my previous one. Lovely long lead, fairly light in weight but gives enough pressure to iron out the creases. Would recommend.
