Use this to put a normal drill bit in an SDS drill. It is a heavy piece of metal and should last a lifetime. You might be able to buy cheaper ones, but this inspires confidence.

When I received my new Bosch Drill I hadn't realised that all of my old drill bits would not be compatable with it, so I bought some new SDS masonary bits.Just as I was considering throwing all (quite a large number) of my old bits away and downbeat at how much it was going to cost me to replace them, I heard about this adaptor. What a God send, easy to fit and remove, plus it does the job it was bought to do in a more than adequate fashion. Additionally I can now use all of my 'old' drill bits until they are worn out. One heck of a buy. Congratulations to the inventor.

SDS drill adapter
Have used this many times already and would be lost without it. I can use my original bits and remove the attachment when it comes to using the SDS drill bits.

A Money Saver
This piece of kit has now allowed me to use my large collection of straight shank drills which I was unable to use with the SDS Chuck on my drill. Saved me a fortune!!

Bosch SDS Plus adapter, with drill chuck
The quality of the chuck is very high.
It has a satisfying solid feel about it. It works fine, and should last many years.
