Poor quality drill bits 15 Oct 2011

Like other people, I assumed that Bosch equals quality. I've only used the 7mm once into brickwork and the tip melted.

Similar to many others, I went for Bosch because of their reputation for quality. I am very disappointed with these drills as they were not of very good quality, one was pre-bent and the remainder were not very effective. I went to a DIY-shop and bought a few more expensive individual drill-bits which were much better made and actually drilled holes into things.

I have used many drill-bits before from other makes, but when trying to drill thru' concretes, they used to melt. But these bits are absolutely amazing. they do perfect drills and I have used them so many times, there are still as good as new.
the quality is superb. Don't go for cheaper options.

missing a bit

Nice case and the drill bits seem fine. Unfortunately the "3" bit was missing but I needed to use one of the other ones straight away so could not return it. Oh well...

Right for concrete?
