The new Bosch Rotak 34 LI Ergoflex electric rotary lawnmower takes all the great performance of the Rotak 34 LI, and brings it up to date. Introducing the new Ergo-flex system for comfortable handling, the lawn mower was carefully designed to make mowing the garden a job you’ll truly love.

The Rotak 34 LI Ergoflex is packed full of incredible features to ensure you get a pristine lawn every time. The rotary mower comes with a powerful 36 volt/2.6Ah Lithium-ion battery with advanced electronics, to enable a constant blade speed in all grass conditions. Featuring innovative grass combs, this lawn mower is able to easily cut up to or over the edge of your lawn. It has a full 34 cm cutting width, making it ideal for large lawns. For flexibility, there are a wide range of cutting heights, from 20 to 70 mm. There is even a rear roller for creating stripes.

The sleek Bosch Ergoflex design, based around the comfort and simplicity of computer console handsets, ensures support and ease of movement. It can be operated left, right, one or two handed, horizontally or vertically, meaning the mower can be steered and controlled from 8 different grip positions, to suit you. With an adjustable working height and multi-position handle, optimal power transfer is achieved. Plus, by adjusting to your body, you can improve posture and reduce muscle strain.

The Bosch Rotak 34 LI Ergoflex can be used anywhere away from a power source and, unlike petrol mowers, are free of smell and excessive noise.

The Bosch Rotak 34 LI Ergoflex is powered by a 36 volt/2.6Ah lithium-ion battery, which means:

• No self-discharge: Lithium-ion batteries retain their charge whilst stored (in cool, dry conditions), so the mower is ready to use--even if it hasn’t been used in a while
• A compact and lightweight mower: The mower’s Lithium-ion battery is 50% lighter than conventional batteries--but with all the power
• No memory effect: Lithium-ion batteries retain their full charge capacity and can be re-charged up to 4 times more than standard batteries
• Fast charging: Say goodbye to 24 hour charge times--the Lithium-ion battery is fully charged in 90 minutes and 80% charged in an hour

Lithium-ion battery performance

The Bosch Rotak 34 LI’s Lithium-ion battery’s performance will vary according to the conditions of the grass. If it’s too wet, too long or covers a large area, this will affect the running time of the battery but in ideal conditions where the grass is short, fine and dry, running times could be up to 30 minutes. The Rotak 34 Li’s 36V/2.6Ah Lithium-ion battery should give 500-700 cycles of life, which should be anywhere between 5 to 10 years of regular usage.

Efficient Energy Management (EEM)

EEM increases the run time of the Rotak 34 LI by 10%-20%. The EEM has two functions. Firstly, intelligent cutting electronics maintain the blade rotation at an optimum constant speed; this smoothes out the ‘load’ requirement and saves energy. Secondly, the kinetic energy recovery system harnesses the energy generated by the blade run-down and feeds it back into the mower battery as soon as the motor has been switched off.

With inset front wheels, the innovative grass combs on the Rotak 34 LI enable cutting of grass growing close to or over the edge of the lawn. This ensures that no strips of uncut grass are left behind even when cutting around flower beds, walls or paths.

A single lever enables you to quickly and easily change the height of cut from 20mm to 70mm to suit different lawn conditions. This gives you the control to get the result you want, with the simple flick of a switch.

With the rear roller you can get that stately home look in your own garden, giving you precise stripes all over your lawn. Additionally, and importantly, the rear roller offers stability over lawn edges and prevents scalping.

Lightweight and easy to carry and store--battery included

Lightweight at only 12.8kg, including its lightweight Li-Ion battery, and with its fold-down handles and an integrated carry handle, the Rotak 34 LI Ergoflex is easy to carry and store.

Large grassbox--less emptying

With a large 40 litre rear-fitting grassbox, you won’t have to spend as much time emptying grass cuttings--so more time can be spent gardening.
