Well I have struggled along for a few years now with an upright Dyson and it got worse and worse, but like many who had bought Dysons, I had been almost brainwashed into thinking they are unbeatable and that bagless is the way to go. But after a combo of research, talking to friends and my Dyson going kaput, I took the plunge. I wanted light, quiet, compact and I decided a couple of quid every couple of months was a decent price to pay for going back to bags.
And what a revelation, hoovering is now a joy, the suction from this machine is incredible. I never have it on more than setting 3 and very often on setting 2 which is whisper quiet. When I used to turn on the old Dyson, our cat would leave the house for a couple of hours - with this machine, the cat just sits and watches it from as close as a few feet away and he doesnt mind.
I am thinking about getting a turbo brush, but will wait and see, as thus far it is superb, not sure I need the turbo power - it's so easy to move around, beautifully designed for ease of operation, solidly built, amazing range and excellent for the stairs as it is so light to carry.
Seriously, if you are clinging onto your old Dyson dont - this is a fraction of the price and is MILES better, change to one of these today, I can't recommend it highly enough.
