The Bosch Isio Telescopic is a compact and lightweight edging shear with a height adjustable handle, powered by an integral 3.6V Lithium-ion battery. Lawn edges can be cut easily, and on one battery charge you can cut for up to 50 minutes.

Performance varies dependent on the conditions of the lawn edges; this will have an overall effect on the running time. A Lithium-ion battery should give 500-700 cycles of life which should be anywhere between 5 to 10 years of regular usage.
Isio
The Isio II has many benefits and includes the Bosch ‘Anti-Blocking System’ (ABS) which prevents the Isio stalling and aids continuous cutting. It has a running time of 50 minutes and a charging time of only 3.5 hours. The battery status indicator is also a new feature that enables you to be aware of when the battery is low and needs charging.

The Isio is powered by a 3.6V Lithium-ion battery and when fully charged can run up to 50 minutes. The Bosch ‘’Anti-Blocking System’’ eliminates stalling and aids continuous cutting. If thick grass cannot be cut through immediately, the innovative micro-electronics detect this and instantly adjust the running direction of the blades. They use a reciprocating motion to continue cutting powerfully through where other tools might stall.
Comfortable and Lightweight
The Isio has a comfortable soft grip telescopic and height adjustable handle (between 80/115 cm). With wheels attached, the telescopic handle allows for comfortable and easy manoeuvrability while standing. The Isio is lightweight and smaller than conventional edging shears. You can also use it at any angle enabling a precise and accurate cut.
Battery Status Indicator
The Isio comes with a four-stage LED battery status indicator enabling you to know how much is left of the battery. When green the Isio is fully charged, when the green light starts flashing the battery has a 20 percent capacity left and when red the Isio requires charging. To charge the Isio it comes with a simple ‘mobile phone’ style charger which will display a green light when charging.
Changing the Blade
Replacement edging shear blades are available. You can also purchase a shrub shear blade separately enabling you to cut and shape your shrubs.
Guarantee
The Isio comes with a 2 year parts and labour guarantee.

i bought this as my wondefull husbands not well and our strimmer is to heavy for me,it is excellent to use trims edged brilliantly and it is so light it makes you feel like you are using a toy,easy to take off the handle and use it,love it !

Very pleased with this, my latest gardening toy. Had been thinking about buying it for some time as I am quite elderly and my hand operated edger has become rather hard work. The Isio is easy to use, lightweight and does what it is supposed to do. Have only had it for a few weeks so am unable to comment on robustness, wear and tear etc.

Charge lasts a very long time. I've only charged it once since getting it & its still on full! good for the environment.
Has a saftey lock, it starts up like using the lawnmower. I sometimes find this hard to do but thats due to problems with my hands & nothing to do with this gadget.
The telescopic handle helps so much better than bending down, it goes through grass as easy as a knife through butter. Much better for my back, although some areas it wouldn't go through, I guess the grass may have been too thick.I took it off the handle & bent down, this worked.
Changing the blades is easy if you have good hands, it just clicks, slides in. Make sure its clicked in place properly before using as this could cause some horrid accidents.

It is ok -works well but is an older model
The Shear and plug pack are older models. Linear power supply plug pack instead of the switch mode variety supplied with the newer revision model

Not for very large gardens
I returned this item because when it arrived I realised that I had too much lawn for it to cope with. Ideal for smaller gardens but not for mine.
