Excellent product. Cuts through leaves and branches like butter. Superior to the petrol hedge trimmer I was using before. The battery lasts ages and have not had it run out one me, when trimming hedges in both front and back yard.
The Bosch unit is also very light as an added bonus.

Fantastic, This is second Bosch rechargeable item bought - previous one was a chain saw. The batteries are really excellent. Enabling long projects to be undertaken easily.

I brought this based on a review in a Sunday magazine where it came out top. I've used a battery powered hedger before and was so unimpressed that I returned it, so I was still slightly sceptical when ordering this. However, the battery charged up with great speed and off I went. It is quiet which is disconcerting but when put into action on a large leylandi hedge, it worked a treat. So much easier when at the top of a high ladder not to have to worry about loose wires and the 36v power source does the job.
The three way trigger is useful when cutting at all angles and the 'auto stop and reverse' to un-jam stubborn branches works well as does the area at the end of the blade that tackles thicker branches.
I've only tackled one hedge so far, so early days but I have no reason to doubt its ability in the rest of the garden.
Recommended.
