The ART 23 Combitrim’s powerful motor and innovative ‘combination’ cutting system allows selection of a line to suit lawn edge trimming, or cutting back stubborn overgrown areas with ease. The easy-grip, height adjustable telescopic handles ensure minimal effort in the process.
Power Source
The electric ART 23 Combitrim is powered by a ‘High-Power’ Bosch motor with up to 400W to provide constant use and faster results.
The Cutting System
Complete with 2 versatile, spools; one for normal grass and one for tougher conditions.
To lengthen the line, simply bump the spool to the ground and this will release more line for continuous, effortless, precise trimming of your lawn.
There is an additional spool holder under the handle for the extra strong line for convenience, with a simple ‘click’ spool replacement.

I used a Flymo trimmer for years and when the motor started failing I thought I would 'upgrade' to a Bosch. Big mistake. This is a poor design and quality with constant trouble with line breakage and jamming and the whole cassette falling off in use. Now the feed plunger has failed with one of the 3 flimsy tags breaking off. Had to finish the job with the old Flymo which, in spite of it's clapped out motor, did a much better job!

Now had this strimmer for about 15 months and to be honest I wish I hadn't bothered.
From the start the pro tap spool system for releasing the strimmer line has been nothing but painful. It sticks, you need to remove the spool to unjam, all of this for a system that supposedly needs a tap on the floor. Half my strimming time is spent with the strimmer upside down trying to release the line.
It has a very large head on it so I struggle to get it into tight corners or nooks and crannies.
It has for the last 6 months decided to become temperemental and starts up when the trigger is pushed only if it feels like it. It has more recently started making a strange noise and there is now a serious amount of vibration coming up the main stock when used.
I have many Bosch appliances etc and can't fault any of them for innovation and longevity but this I'm afraid is garbage.
Overall I would give this clumsy piece of machinery 0 stars if I could. It has proven to be more hassle than it's worth and will shortly be going to the big strimmer party in the sky.
Avoid at all costs. For info mine is very lightly used so if you must buy it use it heavily that way it might go wrong whilst still under warranty!

Dissapointing performance does not trim short edges - difficult and fidley to change line spool and head rotation for edge cutting -heavy to use.
