The Bosch HMT72M450B is a freestanding microwave and can be installed under a kitchen wall cabinet - allowing convenient access while preserving precious worktop space. It has a 17 litre (0.6 cu.ft) capacity, 5 power levels: 90 / 180 / 360 / 600 / 800 W.
The Bosch HMT72G450B also features rotary controls for selecting power level and time settings, a 60 minute count-down timer with acoustic signal, a 245mm diameter glass turntable and an interior light.

I'm no Luddite, but I have developed an allergy to equipment that flashes, beeps, bids me 'welcome' or gives me instructions on how to use it as soon as I switch it on.
This Bosch Microwave is all you could need. Seriously well built, much heavier and more solid than the uselessly larger and feature laden (which I never used) Panasonic it replaces, it does all you could want, you can change the power, you tell it how long you want it to run. That's it. There's no display, readouts, lights, buzzers, anything. And when it's finished it makes a single proper mechanical microwave 'ting'.
As a nit pick, I'd happily have paid more to have had a stainless steel interior as well, but thats just being pedantic.
No good for the technofetishist, it just does the job and does it well. Highly recommended.

This is a great little microwave oven. Very simple to use with none of this fancy stuff that the typical microwaves have nowadays. What is very handy is that it comes with 4 bolts that can be used to mount the microwave under a shelf instead of having it standing. It works a charm.

As I don't have a built in microwave I was looking for something a bit smarter than your average white plastic box. I also like simple microwaves - you really do only need a timer and a power setting. I find the microwaves with countless programs unnecessarily complicated.
This looks great, the build quality is really good and it is compact, although I find easily big enough.
Although more expensive than many models, I do think it was well worth the extra.
