This mower was recommended to me by two owners as a joy to use and of course no need for leads or electricity.
The wide cylinder means that it covers a large area very rapidly and since many motor mowers only work the cylinder but still need pushing, it makes one wonder why buy the more expensive petrol versions?
The cut is superb and the machine is very light to carry around and use. Of course rotary mowers have their advantages over cylinder ones when the ground is not even but for the smaller flat lawn and by that I mean one that it is reasonable to mow within half an hour, there really is no need for any power mower with this in the shed.

I have previously had a suffolk punch and an electric and another rotary petrol mower all that take time to start up and get mowing and all that leave varying cuts on my 3 lawns.
The lawns are medium size and in total about the size of a full double tennis court, they are pretty flat too. This super lightweight little machine does it all in about 20 - 25 minutes. The collector is not fantastic but still catches most of the cuttings and the rest are very small anyway so I leave them. The cut is very even too.
I hang it on my garage wall too to save space and it is a pleasure to use and at this price I could not ask for more, very happy no more petrol for me.
