This hedgecutter was put into immediate use and has performed very well. I have a lot of hedges containing plants of various heights and thicknesses and have got through two Flymo 600s in just over 3 years so thought I would try another make. Very pleased so far; copes with most hedge types without complaint. Smooth operation, reasonably quiet and not too heavy. Thought the price was a little on the high side for a straight forward electric hedgecutter so only gave it the 4 *.

The Bosch AHS 60-16 Hedgecutter is lightweight but powerful and easy to use. It deals efficiently with tough stems of mature shrubs and because it's light can be used in awkward corners. Delivery time was much quicker than scheduled but the package was in a dreadful state, mishapen with large holes right through to the hedgecutter. Fortunately the cutter was undamaged but the delivery agent said that the state of the packaging was typical for this product.

Bought to replace my previous 14 year old trimmer.I am very pleased with the performance and cut of this item after using it on a large leylani hedge which it coped with speedily producing a smooth finish.

Trimming because it has to be done
