Bosch 15 Piece Router Set

This 15-piece router set includes three rounding over bits, which are suitable for profiling edges in frame construction, in particular on solid woods such as spruce, beech, oak and alder. They are frequently used for window frames, cupboards, table tops, shelves and fireplace surrounds.

The two core box bits are used for edge profiling, for the construction of writing desks, producing decorative grooves, for structuring surfaces, for routing sauce channels on serving platters and in copy routing machines. The edge forming bit can be used for various applications, mainly being used in furniture joinery. It can also be used for the edging of shelves and frames as well as the design of mantelpieces and frame profiles. The chamfer bit can also be used for profiling, for fine lettering and decorative grooves into solid wood or board materials.

The ball bearing pilots on the rounding, core box, edge forming and chamfer bits allow you to guide the router bit directly on the workpiece and even on curved edges without the use of templates.

This set also includes four straight bits that are designed for joining with two flutes. The v-groove bit is suitable for chip carving imitation and engraving letters in solid wood as well as for decorative grooves and chamfering wood edges. The dovetail bit is used for the production of dovetail joints, where various dovetail shapes are possible: open covered or semi covered. The rebating bit is mainly used for the manufacturing of furniture and frames. The laminate trim bit is suitable for flush trimming and chamfering of laminated boards, wood beams and corner beads (plastic or veneered) as well as for furniture manufacturing and shop fittings.
