We bought this for our five year old son who had just started back at school. He loves it and can be found sitting at it at all hours writing away. It is a nice compact size that fits nicely in corner of bedroom and give him his own special space, it is very sturdy and if it can withstand "play" from my two boys it is probably virtually indestructable! Great buy - children and parents very happy!
