2.0 out of 5 stars What a pointless film 22 Aug 2002
By A Customer
If you can even be bothered to watch this then I can say your daring. This film brings Jet Li into the dark world of crime. His act is an undercover cop, being never there for his family, it soon falls apart. His wife dies and his son is now losing touch with him.
Jet Li and the son become entangled in one of the undercover missions and in the process the son gets repeatedly beaten up. Im surprised he doesn't die in the end. The 2 stars are for the whole end action sequence. Stunning martial arts focusing Jet Li on what he does best. Don't Blame Jet in this disaster. It's just a poor scripted film.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good movie, bad version 8 Sep 2004

This is an entertaining Jet Li movie, but the Passion Production DVD is worthless. The picture is so dark a lot of times that you can't see what's going on. Try another version.

The movie is not bad, it's this particular production by Passion that sucks. So cheap!
