Format:Mass Market Paperback
This is the third Kinley MacGregor book I've ever read, and while I liked the first two (Master of Desire and Claiming The Highlander) this was without a doubt my absolute favorite. MacGregor's books are a skillful blend of humor and eroticism, thrown into a historical setting and some really believable characters.
Born In Sin is the story of how Lord Sin, King Henry's legendary assasin and most trusted advisor is forced to marry the daughter of a Scottish Laird to ensure peace is kept in the Highlands. Given Sin's scarred and tormented past, he is determined not to be owned in any way, shape or form, even as the spirited Caledonia MacNeely welcomes him with open arms - initially in the name of peace. Given that in Claiming The Highlander Sin had said he'd rather do pretty much anything rather than lie down with a Scotswoman, Callie does a pretty good job of penetrating through his supposedly 'invincible' defenses by offering him the one thing he's never known in his life - love - and claiming him for her own. This is a thoroughly enjoyable book, and Lord Sin has to be one of the hottest, *baddest* bad boys ever. Well worth a read.

Great read 23 Mar 2008
Format:Mass Market Paperback
I read this book and really loved the both the hero and heroine. A page turner, it kept me wanting to know what happend next ...
trully awsome.
A must read as you feel sorry for our hero and also see why despite the fact that he was her ennemy she could not help falling in love with him. He was never rough or unkind to her.

A great find 6 April 2005
By A Customer
Format:Mass Market Paperback
For me books fall into two categories. The first one is where I just cannot put the book down with eagerness to know what happens next and the second is where I read it in stops and starts because the book is so awful but I refuse to give up on it. Born in Sin fell into a third previously unknown category. I read it in stops and starts, purely because I wanted to savour the characters and the narrative like a rich godiva chocolate melting slowly on the tongue. Fantastic. And what I would do to have the love of a man such as 'Sin'.
