I bought these bottles following the numerous media reports on the dangers of Bisphenol A. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they've performed. There are a number of bits and pieces to de-assemble for washing, and re-assemble afterwards but I really don't find it a hassle. My son seemed to feed better from the bottles (when compared to breast feeding) and they really did seem to reduce the colicky pain from which he suffered. Basically Bornfree offer a very good bottle with the added bonus that it's Bisphenol A free - surely that is recommendation enough?!

Born Free was recommended to us when we were in the States, where there is a lot of awareness about Bisphenol A and its dangers. Due to an operation I an unable to breastfeed so choosing the right bottle is important . Our new born took to it straight away - almost no colic, gas, burping or spit up meant sleepful nights. We also rest easier knowing she's not in contact with Bisphenol A. - Highly Recommended.

After reading about the dangers of chemicals such as Bisphenol A in the manufacture of plastic feeding bottles I was very concerned about using them to feed my baby. I wanted an alternative and could not find anything in the shops. Then I was introduced to BornFree glass bottles - I absolutely love them! Not only do they give me peace of mind but my baby feeds well, he is less windy and they do not leak. With excellent products, a speedy delivery and efficient customer service I will certainly be ordering more BornFree products in the future. I highly recommend them!

these bottles were great when we first bought them but now half the rings have broken (the collars) and two anti-colic rubber bits have split. to buy these seperate costs just the same as buying a whole new bottle. no shops sell born free, so have to send off which is also a pain. now other bottles are bpa free, i won't bother with these for my next one.

I have been using Bornfree glass bottles in the last two years. The same reason with everyone here that cos of the BPA thing that made me decide to buy Bornfree products. I am glad that I made the decision. Apart from the cost of the bottle, i find them very useful and safe. I chose the glass ones and I think they are the best.

The cause of the leakage of the bottle is the vent system. There are two parts in the venting system, one is plastic and the other is silicon. These are supposed to reduce air in the bottle while the baby sucks in the milk. On the silicon part, there is a small split(tear), I think, that is suppose to take the air out. Through the daily washing, this split will be torn to the sides. That makes the milk leak.

It happened to me twice and everytime I replaced the vent system, the milk stopped leaking.

It costs you dearly but I think it's worth the investment.

I will be writing to Bornfree to see whether they could sell the silicon part of the vent system alone. Try to save some money.

happy new year to you all (:

These bottles are great, but is it just me or do they leak?
