Wow! what a great album. Great vocals and with Mike Dirnts great bass playing the album is a must buy! Yes it only has eight tracks but all of the tracks are great and once this c.d is in your player you don't want to take it out again! I slept with terry is the first track on the album and even if you don't have a sense of humor you will find this funny. A piece of pure genius!!

An amazing CD! Probably one of the best bands on Billie Joe Armstrong's Adeline Records Label. Similar to Green Day (naturally with Mike Dirnt's bass) The Frustrators put true feeling into each song. A really energetic, melodic and punk album. So good I think I will use a cliche: GO OUT AND BUY THIS CD TOMORROW. U won't regret it.

From the opening track "I slept with terry" to the final track "Brown mercury comet" this album is true punk. For devoted green day fans this is a must-buy, and many of the songs reflect their style, unsurprising as this is Mike Drint's (bass player from green day) side project. This album provides hilarious tounge-in-cheek songs such as "The great Australian Midget toss", combined with meaningful, melancholy songs to make a very impressive album.

Review - Punk Interview Resource 8 April 2000
By Stanley D'Chicken - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
The Frustrators - Bored In The USA While their hasn't been much action in the world of Green Day for the past couple of years, bassist Mike Dirnt started a new band with friends Jason Chandler(Vocals), Terry Linehan(guitar), and Art Tedeschi(drums) called The Frustrators. On January 11, 2000 the band released their debut ep on Billie Joe Armstrong's label , Adeline. The cd starts out with "I slept with Terry." Maybe it is just me but the song reminds me a lot of the Black Flag song "T.V. Party" The album then continues through 7 of the coolest punk rock songs I have ever heard, including a rocking cover of the Blondie song "Living In The Real World." Ever since I received this cd from Adeline Records I have not been able to stop listening to it. This is one of the best punk rock records I have ever heard in a long time. Don't go out and buy this album expecting Green Day like pop-punk. The band blends straight up rock and roll with punk, and a little country on the song "Brown Mercury Comet" to form some excellent songs. In an interview I did with Jason, the singer, he said they would be the kind of band playing with the Ramones and Blondie in 1983, and I think that is a fairly accurate description. "Living in the Real World", "West of Texas", and the song that will soon result in lots of hate mail from any midgets who happen to hear the song, "Great Australian Midget Toss" are my favorites on the cd. "Bored In The USA" is definitely worth your hard earned money. I guarantee you will be singing along after one listen.

Hit potential 8 Mar 2001

I think "You're only Hunan" could be a big hit, if radio stations knew about it. It's a great song. It's even better after you realize it's about left over chinese food.

Review - Maximum Rock and Roll Magazine (#203 April 2000) 8 April 2000
By Stanley D'Chicken - Published on Amazon.com

THE FRUSTRATORS - "Bored In The USA" CD I like this a lot. Punk rockers that don't take themselves too seriously, who aren't afraid to have fun, who aren't ashamed to cover BLONDIE. If "The Great Australian Midget Toss" fails to make you laugh, there's just something wrong with you. Features members of VIOLENT ANAL DEATH, WATERDOG, and GREEN DAY. My only complaint is that there's only eight songs. (BC)
