Please, please don't read this and believe a word written in it. This book speaks of people with BPD as selfish brats, prone to throwing tantrums if they don't get their own way. People with the condition are sensitive and vulnerable but also caring and compassionate attuned to the feelings of others. I fact it is often the need for the person with borderline to protect loved ones from harm (real and perceived) that makes them so confused and lonely.

Please please DO NOT read this book. This is the sort of garbage which make people with BPD so misunderstood and stigmatized, If you love someone with BPD do them and yourself a favour and NEVER read this book. I wish I could give it no stars and rather than pay to read it I think the author should have to pay readers to read this trash.

no i havent read this but having read the description and seen the number of pages i would strongly advise no one to even contemplate buying this. BPD is far too complicated a condition to be explained in 52 pages and the latest clinical evidence is recommending it be classed as an axis 1 psychological disorder rather than the current axis 2. (yep, doubt thats even explained in here!) there are plenty of other books available here which are far more accurate and informative. this would be a brief outline at best
