Here's one for the laydeez. Or, let's be frank, those men who are comfortable in their masculinity. But how to describe Bop It Extreme 2 - the Pink Edition? We'll summarise thus... In short it's pink. It bops. And it will infuriate the pants off you. From the people who brought us Bop It, Bop It Download and the multifarious other Bop It spinoffs, comes a shocking pink edition of the talking electronic musical device that will have you spinning, pulling, twisting and generally bopping to the crazy beat, daddy-o. If that sounds easier than it is, you'd be spot-on. Bop It is half game, half challenge, half torture chamber, with lightning quick reactions and a keen sense of rhythm required just to keep up with its devious digital brain. One's core objective is simply to keep time with Bop It's electronic beats by pressing a sequence of buttons and generally manipulating the device as the tune evolves. But that's easier said than done when the tunes keep on getting faster and one's had a few Appletisers. With a whole universe of different skill levels to explore, it will have you and your chums a-boppin' until the wee small hours, as the infuriation grows and a burning addiction develops inside you. It's not so much about hand-eye co-ordination as hand-eye-ear-finger-wrist co-ordination. You dig? Plus it's pink. Very pink. Did we already say that?

My daughter bought this with her birthday money - her brother has the simpler one and she has really got good use out of it - she has used it with earphones too when going on trips etc. Great choice for her but it does mean that her brother won't go near it with a barge pole as it is pink! Good for her, but means that he will be saving for his own! I would recommend it as a very good time consuming gift that the little girl in your life will love.

Bop It Extreme 2 - Pink. Is a great item to pull out at a Party - the various game modes allow for group or individual play and variations on those.
Although it's probably marketed as a child's toy adults will no doubt find this fun too.
My only criticism is that the sample rate for the recorded audio seems to be a little on the low side and thus not at all crystal clear - it actually took me several times to understand the device was saying "Flick It". I'm hoping subsequent models will address the audio issue - however having said that it's not a show stopper and I don't regret the purchase at all and imagine that Bop It will be making a lot more party appearances plus a sneak private play here and there.
For adults a great pick up and put down entertainment device for those short windows where you fancy a little fun and I'm sure it'll hold the attention of children much longer.

Had fantastic fun with this over Christmas. Even got the grandparents on it. Beware, the kids will whup any adult!

My daughter received it as a Christmas present and all the family have had great fun with it especially me, her Dad!

Wonderful fun. Thiss report is by my daughter, Beth.
Beth thinks that bop it extreme 2 is a wonderful toy to play with her friends. I myself find the noise annoying but you can plug headphones into it so i can read while Beth plays. Read more

very bright pink looks good and is great vale for the money. many happy hours spend playing this.
