Format:Audio CD
It needed to be done really, a live album was the perfect way to end the road for a band who have turned out 8 great albums, each one bringing something new to the music scene. It was chosen to record the last date of the second to last tour at the astoria. At the time, the band were not sure if this would be the last time they played the Astoria and so they put thier all in to this performance captured perfectly. Opener Triad is one of the highlights of the cd as Jon has played with the lyrics and layout of the song, for those familure with the version on Desensitised. It is very much a greatest hits set list with material from .com, Deviant and PSI getting a battering. This was also the last time Jim Davies would play live with the band.
And if that wasn't enough, there is also a free remix cd with another 12 songs on it! Those not fond of remixes may be pleasently surprised as the songs have been reinterpreted in very creative ways. There are even some remixes by Drawbacks, the Dan and Tim Rayner project along with some tracks by Jon. So, PSI is no more? Well we'll have to make do with Doheny, The Blueprint and Drawbacks instead eh? Maybe we'll be reviewing them in a year or so...

Finally the amazing energy that is/was Pitchshifter has finally been put down for everybody to hear! Not everybody has had the chance to experience them live and now this is for you, you can almost feel the sweat in the air as the disc plays. A very emotional time in deed for many a pitchshifter fan, the last ever oficial cd album under the name Pitch Shifter. Put all is not lost, there are new remixes and some of there best stuff recorded live here. The unmistakeable 'microwaved' and 'genius' both feature on the album, along with some of there newer songs of there last studio album PSI. This is a bargin, as it contains two discs for the price of one!

This album is a perfect last release from a band that have had 3 consecutive classic Cd's. Cd1 contains a live show that gives every pitchshifter fan the chance to hear them live and re-live the emotion of their 2002-2003 tour. Every tune is well performed and you can feel the heat and passion from listening to the Cd alone. Cd2 has 12 remixes that almost match the origonals. A classic CD, a must buy
