Shame that such a great car as Fiesta does not have an armrest, but this product solves the problem without any problem. After surfing the web for a decent armrest for my Fiesta 2011, I decided to go for this product. I have now installed it. Here are my review points:
- It really looks good in your car. Just like factory made. Makes the driving experience much more pleasant. Contrary to most beliefs, it does not make hand-braking awfully difficult.
- Although the item is more expensive than most of its competitors, it does feel like a good quality product. When you pick it up, you can feel the materials used are tough and sturdy, and that there aren't any "cheap" components. All the spare parts like bolts and screws you need to install will be provided in the package as well as a decent installation guide, which could have been better to be honest (see further).
- The standard set provided by the seller in the UK has black opening pad, just as shown on the picture. Since I have an individual plum red interior on my Fiesta, I wanted to have a plum red opening pad. However, although they advertise the item in plum red on their website, Boomerang do not sell the item with plum red option in the UK. Good news though is that you can order the top separately from Boomerang US for about 25 dollars incl. shipment and replace the black one if you want (both look good though). The customer service team in the US were very responsive and helpful, and I received my plum red rest pad within a week. Replacing it took 5 minutes.
- So, about the actual installation. One of the main reasons I went for this product was because it is advertised that you do not have to do any drilling in your car, which is actually true. NO DRILLING REQUIRED! so you don't make any structural changes in your beloved Fiesta. However, you need quite a few tools though. To install the item, you will need 4 different sizes of of socket drives, a hex key and a screwdriver (although the instruction sheet does not mention screwdriver, you will still need it). So be prepared to buy the tools if you don't have them.
Overall, the installation will take you about half and hour, after which you can enjoy your new armrest. My interior now does feel different and more "luxury" with this armrest. Therefore, I would recommend this item to everyone who has a Euro specs Fiesta 2008-2012.

very good arm rest,fairly easy to fit,this fits my Ford Fiesta perfectly and matches in with the rest of the car.When you fit it double check that the bottom four screws are tight as mine weren't and i noticed it a few days later when the aluminium extension started to work loose,I'm now led to believe by Boomerang that this has now been sorted with locktite on the lower screws.To put the armrest in the car took me about 30 minutes, all in all a very nice addition to your Fiesta,get it you fit it or have it fitted you'll not be disapointed. Also like all armrests it does slightly make it akward to pull up the handbrake,this is not a minus point as you can move the rest to the vertical position out of the way and hinge down when you need it,it also contains a nice storage facility within the rest and a sliding out cupholder on front of it. Yes i would recomend this item to anyone with a Ford Fiesta did i tick 5/5 more like 10/10.
