As a PhD student I work in an office where everyone needs to type and look at documents and one of my fellow students introduced me to this product. So I had a look on amazon and bought one of these promptly. It works okay with small books but I really do think the sizing description should be more clear. Medium size means small, really small. I know they provide dimensions but it is difficult to picture the exact usability of the product based on these alone. Check carefully on what you need before purchasing.

This is a great way to hold books to keep my hands free. However, this medium one works only for smaller paperbacks and not so well for bigger books. Since I read a lot of hard covers and academic books, I also bought the larger version.

We bought this for our son after seeing it recommended for children with dyspraxia to use in school. He loves using it and it's really helped his posture & reduced the terrible headaches he was getting from slumping over books.
