I've been using this book as a diary all year and as such it's a nicely presented, sexy-looking item. It's made from wonderful thick, bright white, quality paper. Such paper (it's almost thick enough to be card) doesn't come cheap, and this is reflected in the high price. And without wishing to sound all pervy, it smells GREAT!
What more can I say? It's expensive for what it is, but it's proven to be durable, and every time I get it out (ooh-er, missus!) someone will comment upon its attractive design.
I'm a rampant bibliophile, and would love this to have been packed with esoteric book and author-related information, yet the content is fairly sparse and surprisingly disappointing.
Still, it's lovely to look at and I'll probably buy the same thing for next year - providing I can pick it up for half price.

What a great idea! This diary is beautifully presented and is packed full of ideas about books and reading. Each month has a selection of books (loosely) relevant and scattered throughout are lists of books such as Fiction for Art Lovers and Fiction for Gardeners. And there is also space for your own notes and thoughts.
Almost too nice to write in!

Having used this for a while now I can safely say that as a diary it performs its functions exceptionally well. There are dates coupled with the days of the week which means that navigating around the book is exceptionally easy. But seriously, this is an interesting concept and if you are really interested in books and looking for information on alternative reads, this will make a useful addition to your bookshelves. And it's useful to take to your reading group too! Look out for next years!
