Having waited for years for this Car to be written fully about I must say the result is totally dissapointing. The Text is fine ,not overly brilliantly written but OK. BUT the Book is Totally padded with Photos , often 10 or more of the Same car. There are no atmospheric shots of the Cars in the Factory under Construction, nearly all the Pictures are merely Static Shots. Numerous Pics of Car Magazine Covers, which contained Road Tests, with a following, often rambling dissertation on the Tests Content. It seems that its one of those, "Oh a Book on that Car seems like a good Idea" Books. Come on Veloce you need to make your Books far more interesting to justify the High Cover Prices.

Superb book on the Lamborghini V8s

I just finished reading this book. Let me start off by saying I own one of these cars, so I am more interested than most on the subject. I felt this book was superb. It does a great job of covering the history of Lamborghini V8 projects. Few Lamborghini books give more than a brief mention, or a single chapter on the various V8 cars. This book focuses exclusively on them. You get a brief history of the company in the first chapter, and then onto the development of the Urraco. The book covers history and the people involved. Each car and variation has its own chapter and is followed up by several magazine articles from the time period. Various V8 prototypes are also covered in detail. The book ends with some practical information on what it is like to own one of these cars today and what to look for when purchasing one. Equal weight is given to both the good and bad aspects of the cars. This was a great book on the subject and well worth reading if you are interested in the V8 Lamborghinis. Absolutely perfect for someone considering owning one.
