Naturally it would always be nice if the people reviewing the products here had actually listened to them, but at least one review which pulls Booty Luv to bits for their 'cheating' clearly hasn't been based on listening to "Boogie 2Nite".

Yes, there are covers here - but of the 12 tracks (let's exclude the remixes) 8 of them are originals with all the punch and Freemasons/Moto Blanco-ish production that make them sound very 'now' to the average clubgoer. Of course, how may people buying this album would actually be aware that any of the tracks are covers anyway? None of them were hits in the mainstream sense.

Booty Luv's management take the originals that for whatever reason were overlooked by the public (blame the original record labels, blame the radio stations etc) and at least make some good songs accessible to a wider audience. Yes, the Freemasons remix of Luther Vandross's "Shine" was far superior to Booty's version, but that single was very badly served by the record label and only just scraped the top 40.

Next single "Some Kinda Rush" - not a cover, and every bit as good as the previous singles.

one of the best cds out this year if you like dance then go and buy this excellent every track is brilliant you wont be dissopointed 10/10

I absolutely love this album, I think it's been in my car for the last 6 months; just track after track of funky dance tunes and don't get bored of them - definately one to get the night or your booty going! I don't care if any of them are cover versions, infact, im 32 and didnt realise any of them were covers. I also liked the girls in Big Brovaz but think they are now in a totally different league, keep 'em comin' girls!
