Do you really trust the meat that goes into shop bought sausages? - they make burgers & sausages to use up parts of the carcass nobody will buy and they stuff them with salt which increases blood pressure and can lead to strokes, heart disease, osteoporosis and kidney disease.
When made to the recipe included your sausages will contain less than 0.1gms of salt per 100gms and they'll taste a lot better!
With this sausage making kit you can make up to 8lbs of sausages (about 64) with seasonings to add flavouring and yeastless rusk to bind the meat together and absorb the meat juices thus retaining flavour.
The kit consists of One Mincer/Stuffer, Sausage skins, yeastless rusk & 3 packs of seasonings.
Seasonings
Gold Pork Seasoning. Our award winning and extremely popular pork seasoning. This is by far our most popular seasoning & we would recommend it to any beginner to sausage making. Use this seasoning first & make a top-notch Pork Sausage at first attempt & then go on to try your own recipes or do as many people do & just come back for more of this great seasoning.
Cumberland & Herb Seasoning. Original Cumberland blend with herbs. This seasoning has been made to an original Lake District recipe & will produce a excellent Cumberland Sausage with visual herbs.
Olde English Herb Seasoning. Six different herbs combined with black & white pepper, mace & nutmeg. This seasoning will produce an old fashioned herby sausage.
This Household Mincer made in toughened plastic with stainless steel plate & blade makes an ideal starter present for someone wanting to try mincing & sausage making in a small-way. The mincer has a suction-system for clamping to the worksurface & a choice of two plates for different grades of mince....plus a nozzle for making sausages. This is the 2nd sausage making kit I have bought as the 1st one was such a sucess.
The 1st one my children bought for my husband for Christmas. I left the ordering until very late in December but despite the fact there was snow everywhere, the kit arrived two days after I ordered it and in time for Christmas.
My husband and children enjoyed making their own sausages and they apparently taste great (I don't eat meat, so cannot comment). My daughter has said she never want shop bought sausages again and only want home made ones!
The kit was such a sucess, that I bought one for my Dad's birthday. He too has really enjoyed making his own sausages.
This is a great item for people who are difficult to buy gift for.

Does what it says on the tin! Much fun and you know what goes in the sausage - although the seasonings provided are a little synthetic. Mincer is hard work and needs two people to ensure skins are stuffed properly. Speaking of which the skins dont really fit the nozzle that well. However over all great fun for me and my son!

The mincer seems a bit fragile but worked OK. However, it worked perfectly when used as a sausage stuffer.

Bangers 'R us!
Great item, although the stuffing process is quite tedious. The sausage meat needs constant pushing down into the machine to ensure that feeding is maintained. Read more
