i don't understand what the producers are thinking these days...alot of people are saying the same thing over and over, but they're not listening to us!!! all the hardcore tunes over the last last year sound the same, the synths don't stand out from each other like they used to - bonkers 8 to 15 were the phattest box sets...ever...and every track on those CD's were memorable and full of feeling. the tunes on this newest bonkers, aswell as 16, all have that 'upfront hardcore' sound (that's what they call it anyway, i call it crap!) and also those annoying techno trax that really do my head in!!!
don't the DJ's ever listen to the old tracks and think ''what have we done to hardcore????'' i just don't get it. i can't even believe hixxy isn't featured on No. 17...what's all that about!!! i'm usually a fan of brisk and ham, but even their mix is disapointing. everyone seems to be making happy happy happy tracks now...where's the dark, weird tracks that everyone loved??? they just don't make 'em like that anymore!!! the only hope is kevin energy and of course lost soul (still disapointed in kev's mix with sharkey on this one though - 2 happy!!! should be like his mix on hardcore heaven 4!)
as for scott brown's mix...scott, what are you doing???
that's what i'd ask all the dj's actually.
if you want cd's that you will listen to over and over (unlike No. 17), then get bonkers 8 - 15...you won't be sitting there getting annoyed, but smiling instead! real core

dj's...sort it out man

I don't know why everyone is so upset with all the hardcore that is coming out these days. . . I think that hardcore is about to hit some new level and watch out. hardcore for ever. . . This bonkers in an amazing mix the firsat disc is uplifting and then it smashes into a semi gabba explosion, the Kevin energy and sharkey disc is the same as always left me wanting more. . .but the third disc is what made it worth while - scott brown and Marc smith, a mastermisd in hardcore scott brown Livewired. These guys bring the gabba towards the end which is nicely finished of with. If you love your hadcore then it's another good album, for me it's an addition to the hardcore library, keep hardcore alive buy more hardcore - dont download:( Support your favourite Dj's? HTID>>

pretty good but not the best

Hardcore album of the year
I say this simply because this album contains everything I love about hardcore. The do away with Raver Baby DJ's was a total blessing as it lost us a CD of cheesy popcore and made... Read more

Pretty good job!
It's not the greatest release of bonkers yet! But that doesn't mean it's not totally amazing. I loved all 3 cds, i thought they were mixed very well. Read more

not the best
obviously you cant compare this to the older bonkers (pre 8) as it is a different style altogether. but compered to the newer style it does not come close to the likes of 10, 15... Read more
