This is a great product, it's much better than rubbing gel into your gums. My mouth ulcer was making me really miserable and seemed to be taking too long to heal so I thought I'd try this. It works! I can enjoy a meal again without wincing. Some people have commented that the application hurts, well applying anything to a sensitive area such as an ulcer will cause minor discomfort, but you can minimise this by applying it with care, and DO NOT SWIPE! it's not a swab, it's an applicator, so place it over the ulcer then remove it and watch the film form, make sure it's covering the correct area and keep your mouth open until it dries.
