From the item picture, and price, I would have been expecting to receive a pair of bongos larger than those which were delivered. Just so you know what you'll be getting, the smaller drum surface is as big as a can of tuna fish and the larger drum not much bigger than a can of baby milk powder.

These bongos look good but are very small. In spite of quality wood casing, the drum skins are paper thin and lack any sort of deep or interesting resonance. To be honest, you could get a better sound out of a set of plastic tubs.

I bought these for my 2y 9m old for Christmas. She loved them and as they are quite small they don't make too much noise which is why I loved them too! They were played with fairly regularly until a bigger kid managed to break one of the drums. Really disappointed but in fact they are still being played with and still make a decent noise. Great alternative to some of the plastic tat that you could buy instead.
