While I gave solid 5 stars to both 1 and 2 seasons, I can only feel dismay over what was done to the characters and the general atmosphere of the show.
No logic, the plots are childish, the jokes mostly adolescent level and often bordering on buffonade.
An intelligent attractive and smart FBI agent (former Army Ranger sniper!) that behaves most of the time as a giggling teen? Please.
A supersmart forensic antropologist that comes all mushy over a baby (not hers)?
I do not even want to comment on the whole fiasco with the Gormogon line. The shortened season was to blame, in part for that but there is no excuse for the abismal quality of writing.

The 3 bonus episodes from the next season were even worse, so primitive and childish were the plots and the whole investigation lines. I do not know if the show team starts targeting a different audience but I am rather upset. It used to be one of my favorite shows and I was so glad to see some clearminded intelligent people and listen to crisp and funny dialogue. Obviously not any more.

bones is fantastic,its what we are all interested in. where we come from,what is in our bones,how we are made.i have never been interested in anything medical.but this makes me want to find out more about the human body.
